Supplies:
After coloring Maria Girl, I fussy cut her out. I also used a black marker to color the white core edges of the image. Before adhering her, I still had to complete the background.
I die cut the bright yellow. background with the larger stitched rectangle and black card stock using the larger scalloped die from the Scallops and Rectangles Nesting Dies. These are now a total staple in my craft routine! Next I stamped Maria onto the yellow background... and you're probably asking why. Well, this allows me to have some of the extra details of the stamp that get trimmed off to be in the background when she is adhered on. I also stamped the sentiment before using foam tape to adhere her on the card. This adds some dimension without too much bulk.
Lastly, I used the stamp and stencil called By His Wounds on a yellow envelope. I love the idea of decorating an envelope to bring just a little more joy in a paper hug.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you've found some inspiration today. And I hope you continue to spread love and positivity in any way you can.
Until next time, happy crafting!
