Happy Friday, Unies! It's Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules back on the blog springing in some pastel colors and Pooh! Yep, more Winnie the Pooh just for YOU! Today's blog features the new Winnie the Pooh: Pooh's Bunny Hop stamp set and the new Plaid Builder stencil set!
Let's start with the background. This new Plaid Builder Stencil is so easy to use and works in so many ways. This example shows it used with pastel color oxides. I used the dot on the upper left hand corner to be the guide (you'll see that in the video). You'll used both stencils horizontally and then both vertically to create the plaid look.
For the sweet Winnie the Pooh: Pooh's Bunny Hop stamp set, I used Copic markers to color in the image and some Distress ink to shade in the sky. I tried to pair up the Copic colors to match the Distress Oxide colors.
To add even more cuteness, I used the Scallops & Rectangles and Scallops & Circles die sets. Layering these with foam tape adds dimension and detail. For a little extra detail, I added some iridescent sequins and a matching ribbon to tie it all together.
Supplies used:
Scallops & Stitched Rectangles Nesting Dies
Distress Oxides: Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade, Salvaged Patina & Shaded Lilac
Copics: RV21, RV23, RV13, Y02, Y04, Y06, YG06, YG07, BG13, BG32, BG11, BV01, BV02, BV13, Y26, YR24, E99, C0 and C2
Misc. Ribbon and Sequins
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you've found some inspiration.
Until next time... Happy Crafting!
