Rescued Love

Oh happy Friday! This may just be my most favorite release by Unity, EVER! From the loving heart and creative mind of Ang, the Rescue Tales {saved by love} series was born. This new line is near and dear to my heart as it shines a loving light on the many beautiful animals in need of rescue.  And if the images and motivation behind it wasn't enough, Angela will be donating 10% of all proceeds from these stamps to an animal rescue effort. How awesome is that?!  I had to create this card to thank Angela for this amazing highlight of adoptable pets!

This pup was inspired by Angela & Derek's rescued pup, Winston. Also known as Winnie, this sweet pitbull is such a fun-loving, snuggle buddy. When I was lucky enough to meet him, he was so playful with EVERYONE he met. And if you played fetch with him, well, you became his best friend!

Animals are so special and can truly make life better. Rescuing a furry family member is incredibly rewarding because they know you've given them a second lease on life. The love they give is unconditional and pure.

To create this card, I started by stamping Winston and coloring him using Warm Grey Copics. I stamped him again on card stock and fussy cut his head out to create the wobbler. I stamped him again on masking paper and masked him off to color the background using Distress Oxides: Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy and Worn Lipstick.

I used an action wobbler behind Winston's head to create this sweet interactive card, because who doesn't want an excuse to pet this pup?!

I hope you love this new line as much as I do and it inspires you to pay it forward in any way you can to help these beautiful fur babies.  If you can't adopt a pet, consider fostering. If you can't foster, consider donating to a local rescue. If you can't donate money, food or other essentials, consider donating your time. If you can't donate time... find a local shelter on social media and share their efforts. All help is important help!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you found some inspiration.

Until next time... Happy Crafting!
