Pink is So Sweet!💖

Hi crafty friends!  Who doesn't just LOVE the Sassy Girls line by Sassy & Crafty Co.!?  These girls are so beautiful and just so fun!  My first instinct is to do a comic book type look by coloring them black and white, but how about adding some sass with hot pink! 💖

For colors, I used the cool grey Copic markers.  C7, C5 & C3 to color the hair and C3, C1 & C0 to color her skin.  The lips, shirt, nails were RV19, RV09 & RV04.  I colored the donuts with a lighter pink using RV02 & RV10 and then used the hot pinks for the sprinkles and icing.  To add a little dimension, I used Nuvo Crystal Drops to gloss her lips, nails and accents on the donuts.

For the background, I used the big "SWEET" sentiment, an Original Misti and four Rubbernecker Color Fuse Inks.  I put in a white piece of card stock (4.25" x 5.5") in the lower right hand corner.  I placed the "SWEET" stamp to the upper corner at an angle. Starting with the deepest pink, I stamped it and moved the sheet over an inch up and stamped with the next color.  If you don't have coordinating inks like this, you can also use the generation stamping technique.

I used the "Stitched Capture Frame" by My Creative Time to cut out a black photo frame.  I used that same "SWEET" stamp and embossed it with Recollections Party Pink embossing powder and then stamped another fun sentiment and used Ranger's Super Fine Detail white embossing powder.  To add a little something, I layered these pieces over a black and white striped paper and adhered it all to a hot pink card base.

I hope you found some inspiration in this card and subscribe (if you haven't already) to get notifications of any future Sassy & Crafty updates!

Thanks for stopping by and have a

Sassy & Crafty day!
