Not too long ago I was scrolling through Facebook and stopped at Del & Artie's live post. Daniel was coloring one of the latest releases by Colorado Crafts called "Cupid's Bow." I was in awe. He used a water brush pen and Hero Arts Hues Ink in Creamsicle to color the image... and it was magical! Seriously... CLICK HERE to check it out. Below is an image of my take on that same technique.
So, like all stampers... now I needed that stamp set and wanted to do my own take on it. I opted for a blue because well, it's the color of the year! Here's a quick video using one blue Arteza brush pen on Bristol smooth paper.
What an easy and fun way to color and image... and truth is, you can use ANY color. You can use a grey and make it look like a black & white image. Use a brown and make it look bronze. The ideas are endless. I hope you enjoyed this little idea that was inspired by the amazing Daniel West of Del & Artie. Please check out his blog (Click Here for the Del & Artie Blog Link) and follow him on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube! Also, check out Colorado Craft Company and their latest release filled with a wide variety of stamps!
Below is a list of items:
- Stamp: Colorado Craft Company - Cupid's Bow
- Ink: Momento Ink - Nautical Blue & Arteza Brush Pen - Blue (sorry, my set doesn't show any names)
- Paper: Bristol Smooth Paper
Thanks so much for joining in and feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
Happy Crafting!
