Hi everyone! Yes, the holidays are rounding the corner and it's time to spread some holiday cheer with paper hugs. Today I'm sharing a colorful card featuring some beautiful Spellbinders dies.
This card combines something old and something new from Spellbinders. The "old" is a Shapeabilities "Woodland Wreath" Etched die set. The new is this lovely Spellbinders "Season's Greetings, Deer" Etched die set that was gifted to me by Spellbinders! There are so many ways to change up this beautiful deer which makes this die set extremely versatile.
When putting this card together, I didn't want to use traditional colors, so I used a light blue card stock and used Weathered Wood Distress Ink. I splattered water and dried it and also used Cappuccino Perfect Pearls to splatter something glittery in the background to match the rose gold background paper.
The wreath and deer were both colored using distress inks. I popped up the top layer of the deer to add a little dimension using Scrapbook Adhesive thin foam squares. These foam squares are a must have!! I used my Uni-ball Signo white gel pen for some final touches on the nose and antlers. Even though there aren't any standard Christmas colors, this card is ready to brighten up any holiday mail!
I hope you found some inspiration with these fun dies. Below are some affiliate links for all of these products. When you click on my link and make a purchase, I receive a small percentage at no extra cost to you, so please feel free to shop using these links.
