Happy Valentine's Day! Let's show some love for all those four legged friends with this latest line of Rescue Tales stamps! Today's blog highlights the sweet little Douglas stamp which is a dachshund puppy image. This sweet little fur baby has the eyes full of love that are perfect for your valentine.
I started by stamping Doug on the printed patterned paper from the Pup-Pup paper pack. This pattern was light enough that coloring over it would cover up the print. Next, I die cut it using the smaller stitched rectangle from the Scalloped & Stitched Rectangles Nesting Dies set. I also added a little Antique Linen Distress ink on the edge for a little highlighting.
I matted the image on black card stock. I also used some scrap patterned paper from the pack to add a highlight in the background. I pulled out some heart brads that I Unity had a limited supply of and some paper heart tags that came free with my latest order (Unity always packs lots for us to love in their orders).
I wanted to make this a Valentine's Day card so I used the limited supplied All This Ultra Love Die set and die cut the "be mine" die. And just like that... this little love bug is ready to show you some love on this special day! And these Rescue Tales will be ready to be by your side for any event!
