Layers to Go

Happy Fall Y'all! This is Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today sharing a fun way to give a single stamped image an extra layer! This card features the Fall to Go stamp set that is part of such a cute series of coffee cup stamps by Unity! How did I not know this was a whole collection?! Well, you know what that means... time to shop! But before you go... let's check out the card.

This card has all the fall vibes! The Buffalo Check Background stamp is so cool in beige on white, keeping the vibe chill. For some fun fall colors, I popped on some torn card stock in yellow & burnt orange with some distress inks for a little more grunge feeling.

But the real fall fun is with this Fall to Go stamp set! This cup has a beautiful autumn scene with pumpkins, flowers and berries. To add dimension, I stamped this image twice. I trimmed out the autumn scene from one and colored it. I colored the cup of the whole image and adhered the trimmed piece over it using thin foam squares.

This is such a great way to add dimension to a single layer stamp. And for the sentiment, I doubled the thin foam squares under the portion that would be hanging off of the cup, and then use liquid adhesive on the portion that is adhered to the cup. Check out the video for more details.

And I'm not sure if you knew (because I totally didn't), there's a whole series of awesome "to go" stamp sets that you'll want to collect! Look how fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Please make sure to subscribe to Unity's YouTube page and to mine to make sure you're getting all the inspiration they have to offer.

Until next time... Happy Crafting!
