Happy Friday!!! It's Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules back on the blog with more on maximizing your stash. Today, let's use up some of the fun patterned paper available at Unity! Unity has a lot of options for 6" x 6" patterned paper packs that you can find in two sections: Patterned Paper Pack and Past Whit-Kit Paper Packs. And today, I'm showing how I used ONE 6" x 6" paper from the Krafty Season Paper Pack to make THREE cards! Yep, 1 sheet = 3 cards!
For this first card, I'm going to stick to basics. My first trim of this 6x6 piece is 4" x 5.25". Using the Winter Blessings stamp set, I added a focal point on the card with some embellishments of pine dies and green ribbon. Easy breezy!
Using the 4" x 0.75" strip, I layered it over a 4" x 1" piece of red card stock. Using that same red card stock, I die cut a poinsettia and added a glittery gold center. Before adhering these pieces, I stamped the pines from the Winter Blessings on the upper portion of the card front and used the layered patterned piece. Once all pieces were added, I stamped the sentiment.
Now, there is only a 2" x 6" piece of patterned paper left. I trimmed it down to 2" x 5.25 and used it on the left side of the card base and added a focal piece with some gold embossing powder and a string. The only piece left is 2" x 0.75" and you can use that for a swatch, small tag or (dare I say) throw it out. 🥹
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you've enjoyed this Christmas in July post. Make sure to check out all the other great products that Unity has available for your next crafting adventure.
Until next time... Happy Crafting!
