Happy Friday, crafty friends! The holidays are fast approaching and it's time to shake things up with the Winter Shake Up stamp set. This December 2020 Whit Kit set can be purchased along with it's matching snow globe die for lots of fun winter cards to shake things up with. But for today, I'm keeping it square.
I started by die cutting three squares using the middle stitched square from the Scallop & Stitched Square die. Next, I stamped the images in each using Copic friendly ink and colored each in using the same group of markers: YG99, YG97, YG95, R24, R14, R08, E25, E23.
Using VersaFine Clair in Shady Lane, I stamped the "Hello Winter" sentiment and fussy cut it out. To add a vintage look, I used Distress Ink on the edges: Tumbled Glass & Vintage Photo. I also cut squares in brown pattered paper to mat each colored image.
Lastly, I adhered them to a patterned paper cut to cover the front of a 3.5" x 8.5" slimline card. I used thin foam squares for the sentiment. Slimline cards are a great way to add lots of fun images to one card and they are easy to mail out since they fit into a #10 sized envelope.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you found inspiration!
Until next time... Happy Crafting!
