Happy Friday! Today I'm celebrating fall with all its colors. I live in North Jersey and the trees are starting to change colors and it's beautiful. This is my favorite season because it celebrates change in such a beautiful way. Inspired by the changes, I thought I'd incorporate September and October's Kit of the Months for this card. Although each Kit of the Month is a blend of amazing stamps that can work together, you can also mix and match any of these sets!
The beautiful girl about to go on a hike is from the September 2021 Kit of the Month: Looking Forward. And she is totally looking forward to the the trees from the October 2021 Kit of the Month: Extraordinary Moments. I'm loving this fall combo.
To color the trees on the tag, I used Karin markers and just blotted yellow, orange and red and then blended them in. I let those colors dry and then applied a light blue in the sky, trying not to let the blue blend into the colors of the trees. Last, I added yellow to the sun. The girl is colored with Copic markers.
Rather than stamping one of the many beautiful sentiments, I die cut the "hello" from the Chic Script Salutations Die Set several time and added it to the bottom. A little jute ribbon adds a little more of that rustic vibe.
