Hi everyone! It's Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog this Friday sharing another masculine card, just in time for Father's Day! If you're looking to make more masculine cards, these three stamps are great to use: Forrest Guy, Interactive Verbiage and Best Tool in the Box. Follow along to see how to combine these stamps to create a fun card for that man in your life.
To start, I created the background using the Best Tool in the Box stamp set by creating a patterned background with the small images. These images are great for creating backgrounds or adding accents to your image.
Next, let's take a picture of your guy. I love the Interactive Verbiage picture stamp. Although I chose to add Forrest Guy as the image, you can even put a pic of your guy in there! I gave him a plaid shirt by drawing vertical and horizontal lines using three Copic markers: B97, B34 & B21. I stamped the sentiment "Happy Dad's Day" from the Best Tool in the Box stamp set on the picture using Gina K.'s in the Navy.
This card is simple, and yet has lots of fun details for one of the special dads in your life. But remember, you can make this a birthday card, a thinking of you card, congratulations card or any thing you'd like.
Thanks so much for joining me today and I hope you found some inspiration with this card. And if you're making your father's day cards, make sure to share them on Unity's Facebook page so you too can inspire others!
Until next time... Happy Crafting!
Jules
