Happy Friday! So today is a BIG day for me... I'm getting married!!! I'm super excited to finally have this day with my amazing fiancé and our boys and our family. So today's card is dedicated to the feeling I hope to capture on this day: grateful. Today's blog features one of my favorite stamp set "...Thankful and Grateful Fall."
I love this set because of the details on the leaves. For this card, I used masking tape. to create a center area where I. stamped the leaves in four different fall colors. Then I removed the masking tape and applied it to cover the the leaves and leave a little white space before added green on the edges, creating a center focal point.
Look at the detail in those leaves! It's just amazing. To add a little distress, I combined a little bit of perfect pears in gold and water and splattered it over the card. This is also a great way to hide any blips on your card.
Next I stamped the sentiment using Versamark on burgundy card stock and added gold embossing powder to it. I fussy cut the sentiment and applied it with some foam squares. Add some layers and it all falls together.
There is so much that I am grateful today. I'm grateful to the family that will gather today to celebrate. I'm grateful for all the amazing extended family and friends that have been so supportive of our blended family. I am so grateful to be gaining a bonus son and that son is gaining a brother and another loving father. I'm grateful for all the good and the bad that has created these moments.
This stamp set is a wonderful way to show and share that gratitude.
Thank you for following along and I hope you too can count all the wonderful things to be grateful for. Until next time...
Happy Crafting!
