Happy June, crafty friends! This is Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today with a Father's Day card featuring one of the images from the June 2024 Kit of the Month: Whisper of Summer. If you've got a fisherman in your life, this new image is perfection.
Using warm grey Copics, the image appears to be a vintage photo.

Once done coloring, I stamped the sentiment "Happy Father's Day" from the Forrest Guy stamp set.
I wanted to create the appearance of a photo, so I used the largest stitched square of Scallop & Stitched Square Nesting Dies. Using the new Wonderful Washi Die Set, I die cut some strips of scraps from the same patterned paper pack to create faux washi tape to hold the "photo" onto the card front. Then I adhered everything to a similar color card base.
