Most of my cards are colored images, so it's a little out of my norm to not stamp something. Working with A Colorful Life Designs has taken me out of my element and brought lots of new ideas!
This Delicate Doily is so pretty and I was honestly scared that I'd just smear it everywhere. But the stencil itself is quite sturdy and I used a sticky mat to help hold it in place.
I opted to use bright colors, but this would look amazing with some soft blues and greens too. Another idea would be to trace the stencil and color each in with various colors.
For some extra detail, I splattered gold ink and added clear enamel dots on some of the corners. This adds a little dimension to an already beautiful image. As a final touch, I added a simple sentiment strip by Tim Holtz. These stencils make card making easy!
