Happy Friday, friends! Today I’m using a lot of fun Unity products to make two really cute cards featuring “Monster Hugs” stamp set. This adorable stamp set is so cute and perfect for Halloween birthdays.

So let’s start with Unity supplies:
Blue Raspberry Luxury Card Stock
Black Licorice Luxury Card Stock
Sweet Tooth Luxury Card Stock
Blue Lagoon GKD Ink Cube
White Pigment GKD Ink Cube
Obsidian Amalgam GKD Ink Cube

For the first card, I stamped 4 different stamps to create a fun background using the Blue Lagoon GKD ink on the Blue Raspberry Luxury Card Stock. This simple tone on tone background allows for a fun but subtle background.

Next, I die cut a circle using the Sweet Tooth Luxury card stock and stamped the sentiment using the Obsidian Amalgam Ink. Then I stamped some of the stars in yellow to break. up the stark white background. Last I added a cute little monster from the Monster Hugs stamp set using an action wobbler creating a fun and simple interactive card!

For the next card, I used the same technique for the background, except this time I used the White GKD Pigment ink and white embossing powder. Creating another fun and subtle background for these cuties. Using the same pigment ink and white embossing powder, I stamped the sentiment on Black Licorice Luxury Card stock.

This time I used the other three monsters. The orange and yellow ones are adhered using foam tape and the last monster in the middle is again, a fun action wobbler.
Hoping these two cards inspire some fun ways to use stamps to create backgrounds in different ways. Until next time…
Happy Crafting!
