I don't know about you, but I can tell you this new found "downtime" has its pros and some cons. Although, I can be a homebody, most of my family is not and the natives are getting restless! We are trying to balance an at home school schedule with finding safe activities outside for the family. It doesn't seem hard, but it can be when you're worrying about other things like our business, our employees and our our elder family members. There is only so much we can control. We have to direct our energy into things we CAN do! We can play games with our kids; even if your kids are older and live elsewhere, you can play online! We can cook dinners together. We can get that spring cleaning done... and for us crafters, we can literally craft the days away.
Unity Stamp Company issued out this adorable stamp recently called "Feeling Off." This couldn't be a better time to send a card out using this adorable stamp. So, here's a fun video showing how I colored this adorable stamp. I'm still learning how to record and edit, so I apologize for not capturing the whole making of the card, but... I've got some time to learn!
Once done with coloring, I didn't know how to do the background, so I used my favorite easy way out... dots! Yep, using two copic colors (but you can always use more) I dotted up the background, but it all just seemed too bland. I pulled out a retired die set from My Favorite Things called Stitched Dome Stax. I used one to die cut the image out and another to layer it. I then used another retired MFT die called Fishtail Flag Frames to die cut the sentiment and some glitter paper, because we all need a little ✨glitter✨right now.
Before putting this all together, I stamped the cute flower all over the card base using Altenew Crisp Dye Ink in Dew Drops. Next, I added all the layers. I added the larger white half dome to the lower right side of the card base, then added the stamped image using foam tape. Next, I added the glitter strip and sentiment strip under the image. Last, for a little something, I used Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew on the glass... why not?!

Lovely card. This looks like a great stampset. Thank you for sharing. It's tough being locked in. Luckily I'm still able to work remotely. We have started spring cleaning and of course school work.
As far as coping with all the extra time I have I have been trying to make cards to donate to military overseas, children's hospitals and va hospitals. I've been trying to do blog hops and giveaways and search Pinterest etc for inspiration. Trying to stay busy as I deal with anxiety issues as well as depression from time to time.
