A Wonderful Tree Card

Happy Friday! I'm back on the blog to kick off your weekend with this easy card with lots of little details that you can add or not add to your holiday cards. I'm highlighting the new "A Wonderful Tree" stamp kit by using two inks to stamp it. Let's dive in!

I used a dark green ink and inked up the tree and some sections of the music sheet section of the stamp and then black ink around all the edges of the stamp and stamped it from there. This allows for a two tone look without a lot of effort. To add a little more interested, I used Iced Spruce and Black Soot Distress Ink on the edge of the tag to add a little more color.

I die cut another tag and layered it under this tag and used black organza ribbon leaving the tails a little long so I can tuck them in later. For the background, I used the classic Buffalo Check Background stamp and opted to heat emboss it for a little extra detail. Using the same Iced Spruce on the edge of the background to tie in the colors. I layered these items using thin foam tape and used the "season's greetings" die from the Greetings of the Season die set for the sentiment.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you found some inspiration.

Until next time...

Happy Crafting!
